Big Poppa [Done]

Being born in Kazangakure, the little lad by the name of Big was brought into the world under a different name. His birth name was Azuko Toriwa Poppa, named after his mother's late brother Azuko Kawa. His family was well known throughout the village and was pretty esteemed without having to be anything along the lines of rich and powerful. It was due to these circumstances that his upbringing was a little more strict than his peers. Though both his farther and mother were loving towards him, they harbored a very hostile side that they didn't properly show in public. Whenever they would bring the lad home from going out on the town they would get overly violent and brutalized the poor boy. The fact of the matter was that the father cared far too much about his public image to care about the well-being of his family. Despite all of the fame that came with being a member of the Poppa family. They didn't have any elemental or special properties, as the clan was only known to harbor elementally superior children. Their element of choice was the explosive element. Something that they developed countless jutsus to perfect and create.

It was due to their lust of explosions and power that drove the family to be so cruel. When Azuko was only five years old, his family started to change his entire identity. Calling him by the name Big. This was due to the fat that he was shockingly overweight. Because of all of his fat and girth his family used him for target practice. In the most literal sense he and his cousins would be lined up outside to learn how to use the frightfully powerful jutsu, but rather than everyone attacking some sort of wooden decoy, his father would often order all of his cousins, whilst Azuko's uncles and aunts watched in awe and amazement, to savagely take turns physically assaulting Azuko. The logical thinking behind this was that Clark was the head of the Poppa family, it was his duty to make sure that the clans heir was accustomed to the brutal life of being a member of the Poppa family. He was aware that when Azuko was born he had no affinity for the explosion techniques, and would never be able to use them fully. In order to compensate for this lack of skill, he plotted.

See the father didn't want to let the people of the village know his very own son was incapable of being the next great shinobi of the family. With Clark being a Jounin of the most esteemed priority and all. So he would mask these inabilities of his boy through beating on him. This allowed the family to be under a ruse for many years. When the boy would age throughout the family, his family would belittle him to the point in which each night the male felt the urge to go cry. It didn't help that his cousins were popular at the academy, so many people avoided him. Many girls found him to be incredibly unappealing. It was the favorite past-time of everyone in his life to verbally punish the male to the point of no return, often calling him harsh names such as fatty and glutton. All of which caused the boy's self esteem to diminish. You would think, being an extremely overweight and larger than normal thirteen year old boy, he would stand up for himself at some point, however this was not the case. He would graduate from the academy a full genin, much to no one's care.

When he became a Genin, he was so excited that he rushed on home in order to show his parents. He figured they would be proud of him. But that was not how things worked in the Poppa family. No. When he got home, his father congratulated him by sending him to the family shrine located outside in the back of the house, and made him stay out there for a full week without food or water. Everything that the boy had to endure for that one week was to supposedly train his body to face the parlous missions he would face later in his career. However, this was simply not the truth of the matter. Clark and his wife Aniko didn't really hate their son. They just wanted him to be stronger, or so was the lie they told others. Something about those parents was not correct in the head. It was as if they were borderline psychotic. This was displayed quite well when the training week expired. They took their son to the mountains, high and far away from the village, and initiated a rite of passage. It was meant to test the boy's physical endurance to fighting.

Forty clan members formed a circle around the young Azuko. One would lash outwards with a elbow strike to the back of his head and would begin to savagely beat him down. Each one jumping in in minute intervals to make sure they were effectively ganging up on him. After the forty first mission they would disperse from the boy. Luckily he was capable of surviving the vicious beat-down however. He was given one exact mission to rest before his father Clark stepped in. Clark was no small man, he had the body of a lumber-jack and the attitude of a sailor. Burly and ferocious, the boy faced off against his very own father. No surprise to anyone, the boy was utterly beaten to a pulp, his blood standing the mountain-side. Every time he was feeling his body go limp, and was about to slip into unconsciousness, his mother would heal him. Allowing for the punishment to last for a staggering hour. It was here that he had several near death experiences. It was this moment that changed him forever. He no longer feared fighting anyone. He didn't seem to care about his own body, but he didn't know fear.

After the ritual was over, his father explained that he did a better job than even he did as a boy. Attempting to show his son that the beat down was for the best and that there were no other reasons for it happening. In truth this was a rite of passage that the family had never used before, and for a moment it made the entire clan suspicious. They were starting to catch on that all of this extreme violence was to compensate for something the boy was lacking. Luckily Clark was able to convince them that it was a new tradition that would help the clan far more than it would ever hinder it. These things were required to allow and ensure that only the best of the best could be a Poppa. The family was skeptical at first but soon agreed too it. Their final decree on the boy and how he was treated was simply to change his middle name to show their respect. They figured what better way to accomplish that task other than by giving him the middle name of Daddy. As he was basically the ideal father and icon of the family now.

Though many in his clan respected him now, they still didn't think he was someone you had to be kind too. It was sad the level of brainwashing that Clark had over his family. He was capable of making sure that everyone treated the poor boy like a urchin. By the time the chuunin exams rolled around, Daddy was already so famous within his own clan that many people called him by the honorific middle name he was bestowed. Under the name of Daddy, he was able to be taken more seriously by the time he was selected to be put in a team. The Chuunin exams were not all that hard for the boy because ironically he was not one whom flinched at the thought of being in pain. He had entered the first stage against many opponents and his team consisted of a Dragon-Skin armor clan member named Jakku, and a female whom was an expert at Kenjutsu named Sable. As a team they didn't mesh well due to the fact that they all had totally different uses of jutsu. See without knowing most jutsu that specialist had by this time, and no clan jutsu, Daddy had defense.

Sable was a sly-cat, and the very first girl whom Daddy was able to talk to. They were friends a bit from before the exams, but as they commence she would use her physic and his defensive powers to practically make him a human shield. Throughout each round they would transcend past all the limitations that were expected to be great hindrances to the team. It was due to this skill of being very manipulative that Sable was able to win the Chuunin exams. She was given the promotion to join into the villages Anbu. Though he didn't specifically win the exams he did enough to become a chuunin. He had gone on a few normal missions none of which provided any real danger, or as it would be easier to say, none of which were more dangerous than just staying home. It wasn't until he was actually out on a mission to capture a wild woman by the name of Taniko that anything significant would happen in his boring chuunin life anyway. See, one day they were sent to her hidden base to investigate if there was a drug trade going on. His team was mercilessly dispatched by Taniko.

She was with a group of very skilled and deadly ninja, but they took the lad in under their wing because of the fact that Taniko felt calm around the lad for some reason. Given how his mission was given an open ended time date for completion, he was never counted among the rogues of the village given his status upon the mission to root out all the drug smugglers from the area. Under the command of Taniko and her gang the boy had learned many ways to be stealthy, and conceal one's self so that no one had a way of finding them out. Taniko was so impressed with his progress that she began to grow certain attachments with him, be it both mentally and physically. After about five months of living with the female, he would depart from their band and head back to the village. In which by that time his father seemed to be preparing to go out and do a mission, seemingly they passed each other at the front gate respectively. When he asked his father what mission he had taken, his father only was able to reply that he was going deal with the mission that Daddy had failed. It was evident that this would present problems in which there would be no return.

When it came time to earn his promotion to Jounin. He had already taken a few missions, so he was adapt in his field especially with swords. Training often with his then girlfriend Sable. The worst event of his life had proceeded to take place however, after he had completed his fortieth mission, tying his fathers record. His father had taken him back to the hill, and began a ceremony that only one member of the Poppa family had every survived. He would take out a sword and would jab it directly into the back of his wife. Killing her instantly. Calling her the bearer of bad eggs, and a burden to the clan. He didn't want to risk her being alive, so he aimed his hand at her head. And completely annihilated her existence. Using his strongest Explosion Jutsu. He would speak about how they had a traitorous whore whom had once been a member of the family, but was slain by the hand of Clark. As his family ecstatically roared around and left themselves in a position of sheep-thinking, he would announce that he had finally tracked down and killed Taniko Poppa. His very own offspring. This was, to the great dismay of Daddy, however, as it was with Taniko and her cohorts that most of his perversion and love for just being happy came from. He couldn't believe how barbaric his clan was.

But what was more shocking was how the pieces fit together. There had only been a single woman he had met named Taniko, and she was the woman whom taught him everything he knew. At first he didn't believe that she was related to him, it didn't register in his head until his father had called him up to the middle of yet again another circle. Daddy was alert more than ever now. He stated that if his son was to be the successor of the Poppa Clan, he would have to go ahead and give him the ultimate test. Daddy was expecting yet another back attack, but when he turned to counter it. An explosion went off in his face. Over and over again he was bombarded with countless explosion from all angles. Some were weak and only stung, whilst others were powerful and left burns. These acts of torment were all devised by the psychotic Clark, whom had over the time that Daddy was training to be a stronger ninja, had became so drunk with power, that he had wanted to see how far the clan would go under his own rule. Luckily, Daddy had some close friends.

Sable had known of Daddy's abusive past, and she had arrived with some fellow Jounin from the village, whom had ordered the arrest of all the parties involved with the vicious hazing ceremony. When Clark refused, and commanded his clan to exterminate the interlopers a massive fight ensued. It leveled the entire mountainside, and created a pass through one portion of the mountain. Even though the pass was technically not a legal route, it added a safe-way to get around the mountains. When the fight was over, his clan was slaughtered. His father was tried arrested and sentenced to death. When the man was rushed to the hospital, it was explained when he woke from his coma that his skin would now forever be darker in pigment, as they had ultimately damaged him in impossible ways. Changing him and his dna with their multitude of explosive techniques. To make matters worse, his girlfriend of over two years, Sable, had been one of the many casualties of the feud. For several years afterwards he did whatever he could to get over losing his lover and his family all in a singular day. Being lucky enough to be so bold and defendant to end fighting, that he himself was brutal in battle. After many years of service he was so famous, that everyone knew him as the final Poppa, and many looked up too him, despite his perverted ways. They made him a Sannin.
