All have been laid to rest, all expect memories. Throughout the years, shinobi - men and women - have learned how to preserve the memories of thousand of great shinobi that have lived, and then have passed. Though, they never managed to gain the memories of Uzumaki Naruto, Haruno Sakura, and Uchiha Sasuke. These three ninjas are wildly known as the Three Heroes of the world. They are the mirror images of their legendary Sannin teachers, and touched everyone's life in some sort of way. Their memory though has been scattered across the world, and the pieces of their chakra find themselves locked away in certain men and women, wildly known as the Kages of today. They are the shadows and guardians of today's new era, and they seem to wait for something to happen.
They await for Madara Uchiha to return, the Fourth Shinobi War had been created by none ever than Obito Uchiha, Kakashi's old friend whom he thought had died. In this war, numerous men and women died trying to protect all that they thought was right and true, in the end - Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke had perished by giving up their lives to kill Madara and Obito Uchiha. Their chakra awoken a sleeping God, whom took the combined power of the ten bijuu, kurama and the eight tailed bijuu's life source and basically recreated life anew. These memories however, are gone, and cannot be recreated or found in any memory book, or even in text. This story is being told through the combined chakra fragments of the Legendary Heroes that each Kage takes upon their death and inserts into a crystal fragment.
However, life as everyone now knows, is finally changing. Kazengakure and Hyozangakure had finally came to an agreement of forming a grand alliance between their villages, rumored that they were related by distant cousins, this alliance would be greater than any had ever seen. The day of the treaty being signed, and thus the festival on the island of Heiwa, a new danger had awaken that day. The Sage of Six Paths was unable to keep a dark entity in slumber from the grave and beyond; a new five tailed bijuu - the Hydra - had awoken. In a fit of rage and unknown, the Hydra destroyed half of the festival grounds, killing more than five thousand civilians and shinobi alike. The Bijuu set it's eyes on the building where the witnessing six kages were located, and destroyed the entire building.
Three months had passed, and Sannins of each village filled the spots of the Kages, as many hoped that one day there would be news that someone had survived the attack. Only the Hyozangakure's kage had returned, apparently unaware of what happened. Because of this, many of the villages have returned hostile towards each other, many blaming Hyozengakure for the attack that killed each of the Kage's. Slowly, men and women of each village are elected to fill the Kage spots of each of the village, alliances are being forged and mended. But can anyone form a great alliance to take down Hydria, and once again, scatter all of the tailed beasts across the world?

• appearance ;; Kitaro is seen as a rather bare individual. He doesn't have as much clothing as most in the sense that he never wears a shirt. It is part of his intricate system of beliefs that one should face the enemy with pure skill. This means that his trusty Katana is at his side at all times as well and is an intwined piece of his appearance. Another piece that is considered an 'extra' would be his traditional shades. They cover his eyes and shield him from the light and are a trademark of his very existance upon this earth.
Face: While his eyes are covered by the shades they are brown and deep in appearance. The pupils themselves are a tiny bit (1 milimeter) larger than the average human eye. This grants him no great advantage but often the small difference is subconsciously picked up on by the people that he encounters and it initiates a sense of strangeness from him that he is all too familiar and happy with. The hair on his head is usually spiked over with it's blue nature coming as a striking contrast to the rest of his appearance and the typical appearance of a ninja, however he considers himself more samurai than ninja in most aspects. The shades on his face are the most eye-drawing piece of his appearance though and these shades can be seen from far away on any battlefield and when in red-blue contrast with his hair it's pretty obvious to tell when Kitaro is coming. The shades do what they need to do but with their pointed edges sticking out they allow complete peripheral vision to be allowed for Kitaro. The design of them is set up to not hinder Kitaro during his battle although the shades are nothing special aside from being created special.
Torso: Kitaro's torso is a bare thing. He never wears anything over the front of it and a mighty red cape behind it. No shirt is necessary in this situation because there is nothing that would put him in defense or would defend against any attack that hit him. It all fits into the skill complex that Kitaro is all about. The cape is longer than he is tall despite his staggering appearing physical nature. This cape is a moderate colored red. This coloration is very similar to the shades described formerly in the 'Face' Category. His bare chest is an emblem to what he stands for and it's toned and muscular appearance is exactly the kind of man that he is. A trained and strong man. Strong of mind and body that is. Blue tattoos in the form of circles and other basic-style shapes adorn both shoulders. These tatoos on his shoulders are the tatoo mark of the tundra and remind him of his mission on earth. Finally on his arms themselves he wears a set of bandages that extend from three centimeters below his wrist to five centimeters below his elbow. These again, do nothing special, but symbolize the difference between a true warrior and a generational warrior in the eyes of Kitaro.
Lower Body/Legs: Kitaro wears a tied together cloth around his torso that is studded with small metal-ringed holes. This cloth belt is white and extends to be easily five feet in length custom/hand made cloth that has been bonded over and restrung much in the way a smith would fold steel to make a more powerful and durable yet noticeably heavier sword. This cloth is his memory from his home. Underneath this however and underneath his pants he wears a covering of white wrappings that are less tight than on his arms but meant to keep his dangling parts from swaying in the battle and also meant to act as a tight wrapped cup for him in combat. The pants themselves are made of a much lighter material. A mix between silk and cloth but mostly cloth. In these pants several small blank scrolls are tucked away in places so as not to bother the movement of the wearer. The actual design for it was to have an exterior made of cloth and then bond the silk to the base of it for the interaction between the skin of the wearer and the clothing itself would be silken. The exterior being cloth would allow for it to rip and bend and prevent anything that were to pierce it to get stuck inside of it. And lo and behold that the cloth/silk has been ripped in the past and clearly shows it at the bottom but no where else. The bottom also has two red bands that were added on via an additional layer of cloth that stretches the entire circular wave directly above the ripped part of the pants legs. There are two of these cloth bands on each individual pant leg making for a total of four. The final piece of his appearance is the geta style sandals adorned on both feet. Made of sandalwood and heavy they are strapped on top by a black band of cloth in accordance with the theme.

• persona ;; Kitaro represents to himself an air of authority. He is the order that comes from the highest point and while somtimes that means Kitaro is the highest point at other times that means that he is the one executing the orders. He is very loyal to his friends but as a vice to this he has very few friends. As a non trusting and hateful person Kitaro has a rage built inside of him to destroy everything and everyone except those who are his friends...including his friends before they become his friends. In other words, Kitaro hates everyone equally with a strong wishing-for-death-of-them kind of hate that often comes in the form of Kitaro taking action to bring about their death. To be his friend does not excuse you from not being his friend in the past and thus makes you a potential target to be destroyed.
But of course there must be exceptions to this, lest the entire world be destroyed by Kitaro's wrath and his hate for human kind whether ally, enemy or something inbetween. Kitaro has dreams of a future in which he is dead. A difference in this future is a world without secret techniques or bloodlines. A world in which there is only the fair situation that brings the ninja to battle against the other ninja. Where skill is the only thing that matters and there is no secret power that can be held over the head of the shinobi or the samurai. (Samurai by the way, are a type of warrior that Kitaro holds equal respect to as the ninja. The namesake of the Samurai is respected as the namesake of the Ninja would be. The people that take the name are much less respected.) The Uchiha and Senju clan are the most hated by Kitaro for their secret techniques and bloodline passed down by the Rikudou.
In the words of Kitaro this is his baseline opinion of the Uchiha and Senju clans. "If you need blood to be passed down into your veins to be powerful then you should be killed. If you need cells to alter that which you already possess to become more powerful then you are not skilled enough to accomplish the tasks which these augmentations of devil work do for you. Nothing but the rejected children of a once great man. Deterierated through generations into what it is now." In a shorter version, to be someone who is using the left-overs of the original badass that your blood comes from. To actually train the way that he trained to become nothing but a shadow of what he was for power means that you are a worthless sack of useless flesh and blood.
True Warrior: Kitaro places himself under his definition of this but others as well. It's something that allows them to become friends with him after the original sin of existing in the world that excludes the power of the individual for the power of the group or the power of something like a bloodline limit or a hidden technique available only to a specific clan or person. But most of all there is another definition phrase that describes his hate as much as this describes his generosity and kindness.
Generation Warrior: These are the people that Kitaro hates the most. These people are the users of the bloodline limit. The people that hold knowledge and keep it secret to become more powerful. Those people that keep themselves in a sheer degree of power that is absolutely based on their abilities rather than their skills. The skills of Kitaro in comparison are irrellevant. A True Warrior could exist in the youngest baby while a generation warrior could exist in the eldest and most respected village leader or powerful ninja.
Another facet of Kitaro's personality is that of knowledge. To know something that would be taken to your grave if you were to die and it would be lost. A technique that could revive the dead, for good or evil would be something important enough to pass on. Death wtihout giving up that knowledge to someone for you to have meant something and for the world to go on becoming stronger after the death of everyone involved is disgusting and a waste.
To define friendship in the way that most people do is a waste of time to Kitaro. Friendship and comradery is only in the temporary form. Everyone that is alive during his lifetime before he can wipe out all of the factions protecting nothing but the hiding of the hidden jutsu and destroy all of the bloodlines. Anyone that experienced the unbalance of the world and anyone who would be a part of it need to die before Kitaro can rest. Thus he is a very murderous and very agressive individual.
However Kitaro respects the innocence of what is wrong with the world. While he hates children for learning what they do about the world as it is now he does not hate the newly born. The younger that you are the less you have been brought up to a world that is meant for the destruction of what is skill and what is a perfect world. The world that is perfect cannot be the world that is brought up with the children believing that the only way to have power is to have something hidden over your enemy. To be able to open your eyes and gain the advantage in a battle to such a degree that you're opponent has no chance [Sharigan and Byakugan] or to be able to not only manipulate the environment but the world itself to be molded to the will of yourself and your chakra [Senju] or to be a part of something that was a "part of a blood line from some sagely and all powerful original being" [Senju and Sharingan] are all hated. All other forms of chakra manipulation due to the blood having something special are just as bad.
Kitaro is generall quiet and to the point when he does speak. His rage can be heard thorugh his voice at all times. His rage at the world and rage at having to speak and most importantly his rage at the situation where he would have to give the orders or instructions to someone by speaking. The ignorance of those who can effect the world without his direction is another aspect that pisses him off.
There is no moment of peace for Kitaro as he is always active. His activity is mostly mental in states of rest or even the usual states of being entirely consciouss. However to maintain his muscular form and combative ability Kitaro goes through a training regimine daily to keep his muscles as they are and to keep himself as the most powerful warrior in the world.
Warrior and not ninja or samurai. In Kitaro's opinion they are both the same thing as they are both people who take it upon themselves to battle for what they believe in. To be a warrior and in battle earns you a tiny shred of respect from Kitaro no matter what you have as a creed and what you use to win your battles however to have a level of respect that would save them from immediate destruction much more, as described above, would be required.
The biggest traits in Kitaro's personality would be his outspoken self. While he CAN be a quiet individual he is never one to speak lies to appease someone. He is not going to surrnender himself to be influenced by others. His council is his own, the only thing that can change his mind is the effecrts of new information or events.
Another fairly large aspect of his personality is his kindness to those who deserve it. Actually a better way to describe this personality aspect is something that is along the lines of honor. His honor prevents him from attacking a downed enemy, his honor prevents him from requesting reinforcements to a battle. His honor dictates that Kitaro not interfere with a battle between two warriors until one of them has been defeated.
Violence is the most seen aspect of the personality that could be considered a trait. This trait is shown constantly when it is seen in it's brutality form. The form of brutality that is seen in true crimes of hate and passion but performed with a calm powerful demeanor. The power of a single soul that hates the world. Ripping of the eyes into pieces. Eating parts of the body. Stitching together of the private parts. Trapping people in their own demise of a hellish death by fire, by drowning, by being ripped apart slowly. It is all just a facet of the person that is Kitaro.

• history ;; True Warrior & Co: The True Warrior organization was founded by a great samurai 210 years before the birth of Kitaro. This organization was created with a simple purpose and during it's creation wasn't even an organization. Just the dream of a warrior that wanted to free the world of factions and secrets and create a world dictated by merits. This vision of a new world was the purpose of the great samurai for living. His life revolved around this and before ten years had passed he knew that he was not going to be able to accomplish it in his lifetime. The great samurai decided that he was going to take in disciples. He needed to make a goal of more than just himself of the eradication of the hidden and the endowed. So this great samurai traveled from nation to nation seeking those who would impress him rather than with power or skills to recruit but rather their intellect and their ability to seek the truth. Even those whom this samurai hunted at some points would become a part of this organization revealing all of their information and recording it. The eradication of the clans were also a goal of this organization. Slightly more than a decade later this warrior passed due to old age. Fearing this would come during his final moments his organization sealed his soul into the blade that he carried. The two would forever remain one and as the blade was filled with his soul it's chakra stealing ability was imprinted within the blade. This ability to signify the destruction of the secret techniques and his soul inside of the blade, a physical form, to represent the death of the bloodline.
T-W turns Yotobi: The True Warrior organization became a true organization before too long after the death of the great samurai founder. The organization changed it's name and continued down it's road. A process was created to recruit the ninja of the world into the organization. Renouncement of the sacred techniques. Exposure of them and their abilities to be performed. The Yotobi organization was the new name and took a strong hold within the mountainous regions of the world. Even, at one point taking over a base in the mountains and running raids of elite soldiers possessing no abilities that were hidden to the world and acting as nomads trying to destroy entire villages. It was during this time and the following great war of the shinobi that Yotobi had the greatest reach of influence. The great shinobi war of the time. The Yotobi organization stood with the nations and battled against the threat that came over the land. As they have always trained themselves and always had prided themselves as able to rise above their hate and be reasonable as well as always strive to accomplish their goals. An animal that would die without water needs to accept aid from the water if only to drink it and absorb what it has to give. The Yotobi emerged on the winning side of the war but had gained much to great of a popular notion in the world to remain anonymous and a shadow organization with a goal so incredibly outlandish yet oh so powerful as the elimination of all hidden knowledge and above all, at the moment the greatest setting out of all time to destroy all of the bloodlines.
Yotobi turns TW: The fall of the influence of the organization was nothing of a surprise to their elite members. At this time Kitaro's grandparents were in this organization and just toying with the idea of raising children within the organization rather than just going to recruit them. This was not originally their idea but it was something that they decided to take to the next step, in the raising of Ark's parents in the age of the organization post Yotobi they were raised without any village influence. This was a completely radical idea for the time and most people considered this to be the next step in the evolution of the organization while another group within it despised it due to it making a secret society that was inaccessible made of their own inbred versions. An elitist dream rather than the dream of the great Samurai. In the end the leader allowed it for the one generation and explicitly commanded the following leader upon his death to take control of the situation based on what happened with this test run. The following Leader, the one of Kitaro's parent's generation, decided that it would be inadequate and improper to raise someone completely isolated from the world around them. To breed a secret society defeated the purpose of one of the two only goals of the society, to share the knowledge of all that is forbidden. This was the law that stood and the organization further dwindled due to conflict within the actual ranks of those who inhabited the organization. It was a dark time for the True Warrior organization.
Kitaro: So when Kitaro was finally born, while he was born to two parents of this organization, he was not held in by the organization of the True Warrior itself. He had been born into a lucky time that pushed him out of all of the political experimental crap and thus was lucky this way. This way Kitaro was able to experience the world and be trained in the order of the True Warrior. The organization raised him from a small child to the age of 18. At which point the order of the True Warrior sends it's members out into the world. This age is considered the point in which a True Warrior can make an impact for the goal of the organization. They are sent into the world and the most powerful and skilled of the organization is trusted with the sword of the great samurai founder. Upon reaching the age of 49 the members of this organization that went out into the world signal and find their way back to the home of the True Warrior hideout. Once there the sword is surrendered to the next 18 year old that is being sent out into the world that has proven his strength to be the greatest.
Kitaro 2: So while Kitaro was trained in the art of Fuuinjutsu (the specialty of the ninja of the organization of True Warrior.) and the art of swordsmanship (Samurai have always been a big part of the organization of True Warrior, from day 1.) Kitaro became a powerful but unique shinobi in that he valued swordsmanship, skill, and Fuuinjutsu as the most useful aspects of combat. Yada, Yada as his eighteenth birthday came the tournament was held at the end of a massive test of skill. Much like a chuunin exam where there is no limit or requirement for passing. The group that passed was as fine a crop as any...except that Kitaro was one of the passing members. The final tournament took place between the top scoring survivors of the training exam, skill exam, and mastery exam. Kitaro found himself the victor of this tournament and was granted the blessing of the Great Samurai's blade. The True Warrior blade as it is called. Bearing this Kitaro set out on his own into the world, knowing plenty about it due to not being cooped up and stuck listening to a bunch of crap from only the True Warrior people that wanted to be their own secret faction of ninja. Set upon the task to recruit and to change the world Kitaro began to wander...
Kitaro 3: During this stage of Kitaro's life he wandered from village to village. He was a much nicer person and much more generous back then than he is now. Traveling from nation to nation, village to village, spreading the word of the organization like a Jesuit missionary learning the art of Genjutsu and honing his skills in combat due to the many dangers of the shinobi world. The art of Genjutsu was taught to him and he became aware of so much more. Techniques were learned, his Fuuinjutsu was honed, his skill with the blade became unnaturally powerful and unbelievably high. This is where he learned his skills with the Genjutsu and did much work putting down some the stragglers of the kekegenkai that existed in the old time. The time that was the leftovers from the great war.
